Haitian Blue is sweetly savory with quiet acidity. Push,lightly viscous mouthfeel. Richly wood framed finish with supporting notes of raisin and chocolate. Shade Grown, Process: Washed & Sun Dried Varietals: Arabica Blue Mountain, Typica, Bourbon. 

Coffee was brought to Haiti in the 1720’s and is one of the first regions in the new world to grow coffee. Coffee trees thrive in Haiti. Mountains aren’t good for most agriculture, but they’re ideal for coffee; coffee trees thrive in moist but well-drained soil at higher altitudes. Coffee from Haiti is a rarity. Hatian Blue is Shade Grown in the Blue Pine Forest, which is a rarity in Haiti to have that kind of forest cover.
